The way government agencies operate is increasingly uncertain and interdependent. To successfully fulfil their missions, government agencies must have a robust risk management capability that can identifying, analyzing, appropriately responding to, and monitoring the key internal and external threats.
Several problems found in unsuccessful programs are the lack of clarity of roles, direction, scope, by-in from the organization, identification of risks, severity of risks, and maintaining the Risk Management Program.
An effective Risk Management program will reduce audit findings, resource allocation, deadline completion, and discovering other missed benefits.
